Villa Eleni was established and maintained by Mr. Michalis Kakouris and his family. A former top executive in the Information Technology Industry mr Kakouris decided to abandon the city life of Athens and fullfill a childhood dream.

Thrilled by his early studies of the Homeric Epics and the love for the unique Greek sea, he was willing to " forget" a two decades long career in the big cities to seek his personnal Ithaca in the very place described by Homer in his Odyssey. Villa Eleni was created with a lot of hard work.

A quite and simple retreat away from the noise and polution offering the visitors-customers a relaxed holiday break. We look forward to meeting you in person in Ithaca Island of Greece. :)
