At the north eastern side of Ithaca you see the ruins of three windmills at the cape Psigadi. On the mole in the port is a light beacon. At the dock, also in the bay possible. In the afternoon the wind is coming up! Give enough anchor cable!

Vathy is at the eastside of Ithaca, surrounded by high mountains, but easy to approach. Vathy is the capital of the island and a busy city with various shopping facilities. Approaching Kolpos Aetou you will soon see the entry of the port of Vathy, well marked by the beaconed lighthouses on the Cape of Agios Andreas and the island Skartsoumbo. Further on you pass the little island Loimokathartirion (Lazaretto), also marked with green radio beacon.
